Happy almost February everyone! The above photo is courtesy of members Sue and Craig Pass aboard their 1989 Fisherman “Our Joy”. I want to start including members pictures with each post as a way of showing our pride of ownership. Plus, it helps us update the winter countdown clock to our pending launch dates! Actually, I guess we haven’t really had much to complain about during this rather “mild” winter.
I will be sending a group email out soon. This email will both send some exciting rendezvous information as well as insuring our contact information remains current for our members. this email message is as much a sharing of information as a test of my dissemination skills so, wish me luck. I would also like to solicit photos for publication on the site. Send me your favorite M shots.
Also, President asked me to include the following with the email. I though it might be a good idea to also publish this information here. sounds like fun! Stay warm!

Rendezvous 2017- Save the Date!
Please save the date for the 2017 Rendezvous which will be June 23-25th at Seaway Marina, Kelly’s Island. More info to follow as the date becomes closer.
Membership Drive
Kicking off 2017 we are looking for new members! All new members who sign up and pay the $10 dues this year will receive a free Great Lakes Marinette Club hat! Please tell a friend or a dock neighbor about this exciting offer.
Clothing
Last year’s survey results stated the membership would like new clothing. Polo shirts were at the top of the list. We were also thinking V-neck t-shirts for the ladies. If you are interested, please contact Julie Purnell (julie.purnell@gmail.com) who will be coordinating the order this year.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the Rendezvous this year!
Fellow Marinette owners,
I hope to make it to your rendezvous this year…though I might need to come by car. My 1979 M-32 FB Sed. is fully operational; but I’m on the Chesapeake Bay in MD. and doubt I’ll have the time to bring her that far.
Please keep me informed as to location etc.
Thanks!
