                                        *Please bring Home Port Baskets in at time of registration

Saturday July 20    8:30 am – 9:30 am    Hot Breakfast Buffet

                                        9:30 am – 11:30 am   Annual meeting and selling of

                                  tickets for HOME PORT BASKETS and 50/50 raffle.

                                 (Create a basket to bring representing your home port)

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

You have access to either indoor or outdoor pools, hiking and bike trails,     golf (contact Pro Shop), scavenger hunt (with prizes), beach, volleyball, shuffleboard, horse shoes, game room and more.

                                      3:30  pm – 5:00 pm     Tour the fleet

                                      6:00 pm –  7:00 pm     Cocktail Party (cash bar)

                                      7:00 pm –  9:00 pm     Dinner Buffet

               Home Port Baskets, 50/50 Raffle and Scavenger Hunt winners

Sunday July 21      8:00 am – 9:00 am         Breakfast buffet

                                    (breakfast cost is on your own – $14.95)

          We have a block of rooms under “Marinette Rendezvous” and 18 docks.

          Make both reservations through the Maumee Lodge –  419-836-1466.

          The non-refundable rendezvous fee is $60.00 per person payable in

                       ADVANCE to GLMC .   No later than June 9^th!!

 FRIDAY July 22^nd

• 1:00-4:00 p.m.  GLMC check in.  
• 4:00 -6:00p.m.  B.Y.O.B Cocktail party
• Bring an appetizer to share*               
• 50/50 Raffle  

                   *Dinner on your own, Huron Yacht Club or local venues.

SATURDAY July 23rd      

• 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.   Annual meeting, election of new officers. We have 2 openings on our Board.   Please consider stepping up to fill one of these 2 positions, President and Treasurer/Membership.
• 11:30am – 1:00pm     Bring a lite lunch item to share*   

      HOME PORT BASKET Raffle – buy tickets and view/raffle baskets

(Create a basket representing your home port for the raffle)

• 1:30p.m.-2:30p.m.  Tech Talk– back by popular demand
• 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m Tour the Marinette fleet and Vote for your favorite Christmas boat decorations!!      Prizes for 1^st and 2^nd place!

• 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.   B.Y.O.B  Cocktail party
• 6:00 p.m.    Dinner Buffet provided by Mesenburg Catering

SUNDAY July 24th

• 8:00 a.m. -9:00 a.m.   Join us for a yummy hot breakfast and coffee before departing for our Home Ports.

**The non-refundable rendezvous fee is $35.00 for each person that attends payable to GLMC in ADVANCE.

Dear Members and Friends,

The COVID pandemic shows signs of subsiding, but the Bridge feels that the prudent course is to Cancel this year’s Marinette Rendezvous to avoid any risk of potential exposure to our members and guests. If it is safe, we may consider planning a social event/picnic for this fall. Any ideas, please let Rendezvous Chair Leslie Tighe (latlkwd@gmail.com) know.

Also, the Bridge has decided, since the club has been inactive due to COVID, we are freezing everyone’s membership for one year. If you paid a one year membership sometime last year, then your membership would be extended one year. No dues notices will be mailed out this year. If you have any address or email changes, please let our Membership Chair, Nancy Plosker (njplosker@netscape.net) know so that we can keep you informed in the future.

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Marinette Rendezvous. The bridge feels it is the socially responsible thing to do during these difficult times to keep everyone safe.

Anyone who already registered will have their check returned to them.
Clothing and Burgees are still available if anyone is interested.

This year’s Marinette Rendezvous will be held June 26-28 at Sandusky Yacht Club, in Sandusky Ohio. Everyone is Welcome. Please watch this page as the event draws closer for more details.
